Terms of Service

Last updated: October 24, 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and QUITSURE FZCO, Dubai Silicon Oasis, United Arab Emirates ("we," "our," or "us"), for your use of the DrySure app and the drysure.app website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data, and our Cancellation & Refund Policy explains cancellations and refunds. Both form part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited by contract under the law where you live.

2. What DrySure Is

DrySure is a self-help, education, and coaching app for adults who want to drink less or stop drinking. You choose a goal: quitting or cutting back (or, if you're not sure yet, you can decide later). Depending on your plan and what is available in your version of the app, the Service may include:

  • Daily program: short lessons and exercises on triggers, cravings, stress, and social situations.
  • Clara: an AI coach you can chat with (see Section 10).
  • Craving tools: self-help exercises for getting through urges to drink.
  • Progress tracking: streaks and program progress and, where available, alcohol-free days, drink logs, and weekly drink plans.
  • Journal: a private space for reflections and mood notes.
  • Community: a space to post and comment with other members (see Section 9).
  • Reminders: optional push notifications and emails.

The app is available for iOS and Android. The drysure.app website gives information about DrySure; it does not provide the app's features. We keep improving DrySure, so features may change. If we remove or materially reduce a paid feature during a period you have paid for, we will tell you in advance where we can, and you may cancel; where the law gives you a right to a price reduction or refund, you keep it.

3. Not Medical Advice or Treatment

DrySure is a self-help and coaching app, not medical treatment. It is not a healthcare service, not a medical device, and not a treatment program for alcohol use disorder or any other condition. It does not provide medical, psychological, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, addiction specialist, or treatment service.

If you drink heavily every day, talk to a doctor before you stop or sharply cut down. Stopping or cutting down suddenly after heavy daily drinking can cause serious, potentially life-threatening withdrawal, including seizures and delirium tremens (DTs). Withdrawal symptoms such as shaking, sweating, confusion, hallucinations, or seizures are a medical emergency: call your local emergency number right away. If you're thinking about harming yourself, call your emergency number.

Also talk to a healthcare professional about your drinking if you are pregnant or trying to conceive, have a medical or mental health condition, or take medication. Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something in the Service. We can't promise you will reduce or stop drinking or get any particular result; everyone's experience is different.

4. Who Can Use DrySure

You must be 18 or older to use DrySure. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18. If we learn that someone under 18 is using DrySure, we will close the account and delete its data, as our Privacy Policy explains. Your account is personal to you.

5. Responsible Use & Alcohol

DrySure does not encourage or promote drinking. The Cut back path is designed to help you drink less. Any drink budget or target you set in the app is your own choice; it is not medical guidance and does not mean that any level of drinking is safe for you. You are responsible for your own decisions about alcohol and for following the laws where you live, including on the legal drinking age. Never drink and drive or operate machinery after drinking.

6. Your Account

You can sign in with an emailed code, Google, or Apple. Please give accurate information, keep access to your email and sign-in accounts secure, and tell us at hello@drysure.app if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it happened because of our failure to keep the Service secure.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account > My Account) or by emailing us; see how to delete your account. Deleting your account or the app does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in the App Store or Google Play (Section 8).

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features need a paid subscription. Subscriptions are bought only inside the app, through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google takes the payment under their own terms, and we use RevenueCat to confirm your subscription and unlock features.

  • Plans: a monthly subscription (billed every month) or a quarterly subscription (billed every 3 months). Both include the same features.
  • Price and billing period: the price, currency, any taxes the store applies, and how often you are billed are shown in the store before you confirm your purchase. Prices can vary by country.
  • Payment: you are charged by Apple or Google when you confirm the purchase.
  • Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. Renewals are charged within the 24 hours before the current period ends. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Free trials: DrySure does not offer a free trial at the moment. If we add one, the store shows its length and the price you'll pay afterward before you start. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
  • Price changes: we will give you advance notice of a price increase through the store, the app, or email, and, where the law or the store requires, ask for your agreement. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it applies.

8. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, in a few taps, in the same store you subscribed through: on iPhone, Settings > your name > Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play > profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep paid features until the end of the period you have paid for. If you need help, email hello@drysure.app.

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google, and you may also have a legal right to withdraw from the purchase (for example, within 14 days in the EU and UK). Our Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how this works.

9. Your Content and the Community

(a) Your content

You own what you create in DrySure, including journal entries, logs, messages to Clara, and community posts ("Your Content"). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. For community posts and comments, this includes showing them to other members. Your journal, logs, and Clara conversations are private to you and are not shown to other members. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept in backups (removed within 30 days) or where the law requires us to keep them.

We will not use Your Content in advertising or marketing without your explicit permission.

(b) Community rules

The community works because it is kind and safe. When you post, please:

  • Be respectful; no harassment, hate, or bullying.
  • Don't encourage or pressure anyone to drink, or promote drink-driving or other dangerous or illegal activity.
  • Don't give others medical advice (such as how to stop drinking without medical support, or about medication), and don't sell or promote products or services.
  • Don't share other people's personal information, or more about yourself than you're comfortable with others seeing.
  • Don't post content that is illegal or that you don't have the right to share.

(c) Moderation, reporting, and appeals

We review community content using automated tools, including AI, and human moderators. We may remove or limit content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these Terms or the law. When we do, we will tell you what we did and why, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it. You can ask for a person to review the decision by emailing hello@drysure.app within six months.

To report content you think is illegal or breaks these rules, including content that infringes your copyright, use the report option in the app or email hello@drysure.app with a link to or description of the content, why you think it is a problem, and your contact details. We will review reports promptly and let you know what we decide. We will close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others' rights. This email address is also our point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act. If someone's life may be at risk, contact emergency services rather than us.

10. Clara, Our AI Coach

This section applies when Clara is available in your version of the app.

Clara is an artificial intelligence system, not a human. Clara is not a doctor, addiction specialist, therapist, counselor, or any other licensed professional. Clara does not diagnose conditions, give medical advice, or recommend medication.

Clara's replies are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or not right for your situation. Treat them as general encouragement and ideas, not as professional advice, and use your own judgment. Clara's replies are produced using third-party AI models, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Clara is not an emergency service and cannot call for help or contact anyone for you. If you have withdrawal symptoms or another medical emergency, call your local emergency number now. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call your emergency number.

Please don't try to make Clara produce harmful, illegal, or abusive content, or use Clara to get around these Terms.

11. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, lessons, text, designs, and the DrySure name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use under these Terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. Things You Must Not Do

  • Break any law, or use the Service for anything illegal.
  • Access other accounts or our systems without permission, or interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service.
  • Reverse engineer or copy the app, except where the law allows it.
  • Upload malware or other harmful code.
  • Scrape or collect data from the Service using automated tools without our written permission.
  • Impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are.
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others, or break the community rules in Section 9.
  • Resell, redistribute, or make derivative works from the Service's content without our written permission.

13. Suspension and Ending These Terms

You can stop using DrySure and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other members. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and explain why. If we close your account without a good reason under these Terms, or stop offering the Service, we will refund any unused part of a paid subscription where we are able to, or help you get it refunded through the store. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 3, 14, 15, and 16) survive after these Terms end.

14. Our Responsibility to You

We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that it will lead to any particular result for your drinking, health, or wellbeing. To the extent the law allows, we provide the Service "as is" and exclude implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, business, or data that you could have backed up, and our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you have not paid us anything, this limit does not apply, and our liability is limited only as far as the law allows.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. If you live in the EU, EEA, or UK, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, and you have legal rights if digital content or a digital service we supply is faulty. If you live in Australia, our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

If you use the Service for business purposes, or break these Terms or the law, you agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and costs we incur because of third-party claims arising from that, to the extent the law allows.

15. Disputes and Governing Law

If you have a problem, please email hello@drysure.app first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly, and we will try to resolve any complaint as soon as we can.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes may be brought in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. However, if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live. If you live in the EU, EEA, or UK, you can always bring proceedings in your local courts.

16. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Service or its content, have no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and are not responsible for handling claims about the app (including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims). If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, which may refund the purchase price; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on a US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also follow the store's usage rules. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

17. General

  • Changes to these Terms: we may update these Terms as DrySure or the law changes. For material changes, we will tell you in the app or by email reasonably in advance, before they take effect, unless the change is needed sooner for legal or safety reasons. If you don't agree, you can cancel and stop using the Service before the change applies.
  • Transfer: we may transfer these Terms to a company that takes over DrySure, as long as your rights are not reduced. You may not transfer your account.
  • Severability: if a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver: if we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Cancellation & Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
